Although Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson launched his YouTube channel just last month, he already reached 1 million subscribers!
Dwayne started the channel with Seven Bucks Productions.
He uploaded a video to the site on July 29, where he shared the news to his fans. He says, “We heard some amazing news yesterday, which was we had crossed over the million subscriber mark in some sort of record time.”
In the video, he is driving to the Fast and Furious movie set. Dwayne said that he appreciates all the support from fans who watch his videos. The Rock adds that he and Seven Bucks Productions wanted to expand the TV and film company to include digital content. He states, “We wanted to create a platform where we can create our own content, entertain the world, but also where we can work with the most brilliant digital creators on the planet.”
Dwayne then takes the time to thank YouTube for the golden button award. He concludes the video by setting a new goal, where he hopes to reach 50 million subscribers!
